- PELC was organized in 1974 as a service to the community of Pella and surrounding communities.
- It is licensed by the Iowa State Department of Human Services and inspected annually by DHS.
- The Center offer a nurturing environment for all children regardless of gender, race, national origin, or religion.
- The Center has a safe, secure facility to encourage your child’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.
- We also provide participation in Child and Adult Care Food Program; CACFP standards are followed for all meals and snacks.
- In recognition of standards maintained, the center has achieved Iowa Quality Rating System (QRS) level 4.
